Check measure worksheet
Before you start measuring, print off our Check Measure Worksheet to record your measurements. These check measure worksheets have been designed to ensure you capture all the details required to complete your order. When placing your order online, simply populate this information straight into the order form. Easy!
- Use a steel tape measurer for accuracy. Make sure it’s straight and tight when you take your measurements.
- From the front door, turn left. This becomes window 1 and then work clockwise around your house. Repeat upstairs if necessary. Also add your room name to each blind as you order them.
- Choose a hand drawn or motorisation track before you start as this will affect your options for individual panel widths.
- Decide before you measure if you want your track width to be wider than your curtain width. This will allow you to place your curtain stack past any doors or windows. The stack width for curtains is approx. 1/3 the width of your finished curtain size.
- Aim to go as high and wide with your curtains as you can. This will give you a beautiful, luxurious look and ensure maximum light control - especially for blockout curtains.
- Always measure in millimetres (mm.)
- Measure every window, even those that appear to be the same width and height.
- Do not take make and additions or deductions to your measurements - iSeekBlinds will do this for you based on your selected options.

Design and Customise your Double Curtains
-
Number of panels (hand drawn): Our hand-drawn curtains are available up to 20,000mm (20mtrs) in length and can be split into 10 individual panels, as you measure each window, take note of how many panels you want for each curtain and what each of their measurements is. They can all be of equal width or you can specify a unique width for each panel
-
Curtain stack (motorised tracks): With motorised tracks, you can choose from either; a left-hand stack, right-hand stack or centre opening. This will also be the default side that your motor will be installed. If you choose centre opening you can choose for the motor to be installed on the left or right side. When you design and order your curtains you can make this selection, don’t make any alterations to your measurements, iSeekBlinds will do this for you
-
Wand size (hand drawn): You can fit a wand to any or all of your desired panels. Wands are available in 4 sizes and are attached at the top of your track and measured from the track down. Wand Sizes: 750mm, 1000mm, 1250mm, 1500mm
-
Track: Our designer curtain tracks are suitable for both ceiling & wall mount installation. Featuring a square-shaped design, this track is neat, compact and discreet and available in white and black. NB: For tracks greater than 3,600mm these will be made in two parts that join together, this will not affect the integrity or strength of the track.
-
Wall mount bracket types: Choose a standard bracket when you have no obstructions, these adjustable brackets can be extended from 80mm – 110mm in length. If you are hanging your curtain over an outside mounted roller blind or have any obstructions to consider, then our extension brackets will be better suited. These brackets adjust from 115mm – 150mm in length.
-
Drop effect: When you measure your curtains, note the standard measurement to the floor, when you design and order your curtains you can choose your drop effect to either be off the floor which will be approx. 10mm shorter or puddled which will be approx. 40mm longer.

Extra wide roller blinds
If your window is wider than 3,000mm, linked rollers blinds enable you to place blinds side by side across your windows, bifold or stacking doors. You can keep any chains clear of the centre and the gap between the blinds is greatly reduced with the use of our linking brackets.
Our linked layouts give you the option to link 2, 3, or 4 blinds for a maximum width of 12,000mm.
